I love seeing someone become more confident in the kitchen because I know it will translate into more confidence in other areas of their lives and deeper connections with those they love.   So many TV chefs or gourmet cookbooks do more to dishearten a budding chef than inspire them.  The number one thing I have taught my daughters and others is cooking is supposed to be fun and exciting or soothing and comforting.  If you are stressed you miss the point and should just order a pizza.
