2 Cans Fire Roasted Tomatoes 14.5 oz
1 Each Red Pepper
1 Tsp Garlic Olive Oil
1 Tbl Sweet Red WIne
1 Tsp Mrs. Dash
1 Tsp Herb D' Provence or italian seasoning blend
1 Tsp Hungarian Sweet Paprika (Optional)
1 /4 Cup Cream
1. Drizzle Red pepper with olive oil and lightly blacken under a broiler for a few minutes until tender.
2. Place all ingredients except cream into a blender and puree until smooth.
3. Place in a 1.5 quart crock pot on high for 2 hours.
4. Add cream.
This recipe makes 3 -4 servings
You can substitute milk for the cream.
The soup is still wonderful heated quickly but Mom prefers to slow heat to allow the flavors to blend thoroughly.
